The motorcycle world focused its eyes on Milan, Italy, for EICMA 2009, the 67th International Motorcycle Exhibition. Ducati unveiled their new Multistrada 1200 along with some updates for their 2010 lineup. BMW dazzled visitors with an inline six-cylinder concept bike. KTM stepped up their game with a new 350cc motocrosser as well as a new Duke and some concept models. Meanwhile the Piaggio Group used the Milan show to exhibit products from its family of marques including Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, and Vespa. Aprilia 2010 Aprilia Dorsoduro Factory Aprilia unveiled a higher-spec “Factory” version of the Dorsoduro for 2010 with carbon fiber parts. BMW EICMA 2009: BMW Concept 6 BMW displayed a concept bike powered by an inline six and dropped hints that the engine may find it’s way to the showroom on a future K-series motorcycle. Moto Guzzi Moto Guzzi V12 concepts Moto Guzzi designers Miguel Galluzzi and Pierre Terblanche present three concept models celebating the Italian Eagle’s tansverse-mounted 1,200cc Twin. 2010 Moto Guzzi V7 Clubman Racer The new Moto Guzzi V7 Clubman Racer was inspired by the classic 850 Le Mans from the ’70s. 2010 Moto Guzzi Aquilla Nera Moto Guzzi displayed a new matt black Aquila Nera variant for its 2010 range of customs – the California 1100, Nevada 750, and Bellagio 940. MV Agusta MV Agusta F4 unveiled Possibly the last MV Agusta model introduced under Harley-Davidson ownership, the 2010 F4 is an evolution of Massimo Tamburini’s original design. Piaggio Piaggio USB concept Piaggio presents a hybrid concept with a laid-back riding position. But where do we plug in our mouse? Triumph Triumph Speed Triple SE Triumph releases a special two-tone version of its Speed Triple streetfighter. Pirelli introduced its new top-of-the-line Diablo Roso Corsa tires, developed from the company’s experience as WSBK spec tire supplier.
